"The earth whispers her secrets; they are there if we listen. On the tundra, in the forest and in the Celtic lands of her youth, Katherine  has been paying attention. She has traveled in different lands, lived with different cultures, and spent a lifetime gathering the knowledge left to us by ancient ancestors. Healer, teacher, mother, grandmother, elder and artist, Katherine lives in a harmony most of us only read about, a world of balance, peace and healing. "

Mike on Baffin Island in the Arctic.

Mike  has been traveling, camping and surviving in some of the most isolated environments in the world. He has traveled by foot, ski, snowmobile, snowshoe, canoe and kamotiq (dog sled). Mike is comfortable on the arctic tundra, and in Algonquin Park and the northern forest. He has camped in summer and winter, in temperatures that range from 70 below zero to the summer heat of Ontario. His camps can be set up with few or no supplies, and food obtained by fishing and foraging off the land.
